If you have a Primary Care policy or #care4U, you can upgrade to Primary Care Extra to get additional benefits when you see your GP, optician, physio, or a range of other health providers.

Primary Care Extra has all the benefits available in the Primary Care plan plus:

  • Dental treatment
  • Travel and other vaccinations
  • Some increased benefit maximums
  • Mole mapping

If you are non-union members, please add extra 10% to the rate.

(*) Members may choose to increase their benefits by moving from Primary Care to Primary Care Extra, provided that:
 
          • All Members are covered in the same plan i.e. either Primary Care or Primary Care Extra, and 
          • The appropriate premium is paid

On upgrading to Primary Care Extra, Members will serve the Waiting Period applicable under Primary Care Extra for all benefits that are not included in Primary Care. These additional Waiting Periods apply over and above the standard Waiting Periods for Primary Care. Please refer to Upgrade Terms and Conditions.
