We’re so proud of the impact our funding and resources have helped make over the last three years of 'Grants for Good' program. So read below these spotlight interviews which are highlighting some of our inspiring grantees and the wonderful work they hope to accomplish with their grant.
While our grants may support many ideas, for 2024 the Grants Committee has identified some relevant & contemporary themes and will place particular emphasis on them.
Exploring issues such as work life balance, changes and management of workloads, Covid-19 impacts on working, how our sectors can better support lifelong learning.
Exploring issues around how we can enable all our members to thrive, minimise the impacts of stress and burnout, and support or create better physical, mental or financial wellbeing in the education & public service sectors.
Exploring issues around Te Tiriti understanding and implications, democratic decision-making, gender & pay equity, and giving workers a voice.
For 2021 we are pleased to announce a new “Special Topic” Responding to Climate Change. We are looking for novel and innovative ways to address this significant challenge.
Other topics could include the value of early childhood education, work or industry experience for educators, or retraining for a second career.
